Heavy Rain? Bring Your Potted Plants Inside

We are having a lot of heavy rain in Georgia. Although rain is very beneficial for the soil and roots of plants in the garden, you know the saying “you can have too much of a good thing”? In your plants case, this is true and can be very detrimental to potted plants and in ground plants in areas of the garden where soil does not drain well.

When plants receive too much water they become water logged and basically drown, as they also use oxygen to live just like you and me.

If you don’t have a covered area where you can place your potted plants, it may be a good time to bring your plants inside!
